Our client who is a family owned and operated Structural Steel, Fabricator and Erector Company is in need of a:
Project Manager
DIRECT HIRE!
M-F; 6am-4:30pm, $80K-$120K
The basic function of a Project Manager is to facilitate the coordination of projects from award to completion of install through correspondence with the customer and all other pertinent parties.
Responsibilities:
- Drawing Management; bid out detailing and assign projects to detailers
- Company Portal; updated drawing statuses, deck order and delivery dates
- Field Coordination; coordinate shipping, and equipment and rentals needed on job site
- Production Coordination: maintain communication with Production Manger for scheduling projects; maintain and update project statuses
Experience:
- Experience in the structural steel construction industry
- Understanding & use of word/ excel documents & use of email.
- Experience bidding out projects to sub-contractor when needed
- Able to read and interpret trade blueprints
- Able to take off materials, hardware, and generate change orders when necessary
Must be OK working in all types of weather
Must have Steel Experience!!
