The Education Manager is responsible to act as the direct contact for all school districts and Public Dept of Education, coordinating and reporting on the following areas: Point person for scheduling of observations/testing/evaluation and OT/SP Provide administrative support to management Prepare and maintain education charts Coordinate meetings and maintain calendar of events Court order process Alt Ed contract process Maintain student profiles in FOCUS Distribution of attendance records to school district PIMS QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor#s Degree in human services or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years education experience in a community based program servicing children, adolescents preferred. #Demonstrate leadership, strong organizational, communication, and written skills. Knowledge / education of children and adolescent stages of social and emotional growth and development. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. JOB DUTIES: Utilize the PIMS- Pennsylvania Information Management Service in order to complete the following tasks: Platform used for uploading and reporting information from FOCUS to the Public Dept of Education Retrieval of PA secure IDs for each student. Work with PIMS coordinators/ Child Accounting from each home school district to ensure each student is accounted for when reporting to the state. Also, to ensure a student is not reported by two LEAs. # Title 1 funding- Collaborate with member from Reading SD with tracking of students eligible for Title 1 services Provide detailed information that is requested for each Reading student # PSSA/State Testing- Document each student that will be completing PSSAs and Keystone Testing at Berks Campus. Assist with ordering testing materials and preparation of testing Distribution of each student#s testing results to their home school and parent/guardians and filing results in ED chart # Report Cards- Enter and manage each student#s schedule in FOCUS to ensure that grades may be entered Enter and assist teachers with entering grades into FOCUS Review of each report card/progress report/transcript to ensure all information is correct. Create transcript for high school students- manage information entered on transcript. Distribution of final report card and progress report to each home school and mail home to parent/guardian. Filing of report card/progress report and transcript in each ED chart/file Provide Program Leadership and Quality Assurance with Quarterly Key indicator information.
