Financial Operations Recovery Process Specialist II
Location: The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.
The Financial Operations Recovery Process Specialist for Advanced Home Delivery at CarelonRx is responsible for discovery, validation, recovery, and adjustments to receivable balances. The candidate will work with cash receipts, cash applications, collections, overpayments, vendor validation, and prescription adjustments. The role is considered a hybrid position within the organization.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Review of receivable balances for relating short and non-payments using various techniques including systems-based queries, specialized reporting, or other research.
- May perform collection activities to ensure the recovery of overpayments and maintenance of unprocessed cash and accounts receivable processes and all other cash applications as required.
- The candidate will find discrepancies in payments compared to receivables and will need to investigate to be able to match together in new accounts receivable software.
- Individuals will work closely with the patient services team to ensure customer balances are correctly communicated to them.
- Assist in digital design to collect past-due balances from customers.
- Be able to quickly learn new software to ensure accurate receivable balances and financial statements for CarelonRx.
- Assist in the creation and review of department policy and procedure manuals for accuracy and work to ensure procedures and policies are accurate and complete. Follow procedures for efficient collections and accurate balances.
- Be able to communicate within large organizations to retrieve necessary information for decision-making.
- Able to decipher differences/issues in receivables balances to ensure proper collection and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a High School diploma
- Requires a minimum of 2 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experience
- An associate degree or higher is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in high-volume operations (claims, customer service, enrollment, and billing) is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in the pharmacy industry (specifically mail-order pharmacy) is strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $19.73 to $35.82
