Job Description
Summary
Successfully manage a sales team by hitting KPI’s on revenue and margin, building a successful sales rep team, implementing company initiatives, and working with all Baker employees to help customers achieve their goals.
Requirements
* Design and implement a strategic business plan for branch revenue growth that expands the company’s client base and grows its market share.
* Own recruiting, goal setting, coaching and performance monitoring of assigned sales reps.
* Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
* Present sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
* Identify emerging changes in the market and new product development.
* Collaborate with management to build, implement, and train sales staff on customer development and retention.
* Implement performance improvement plans to needed sales reps.
* Maintain a healthy attitude and positively motivate the assigned sales reps.
Minimum Qualifications
* 7 Years of related industry sales experience.
* BS/BA Degree or equivalent industry experience.
* Committed to continuous industry related education through workshops, seminars etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, and other office procedures and terminology.
Skills:
* Proficient in SalesForce, Viewpoint, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point software programs.
Abilities:
* The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
Physical Demands
* Requires removing ladder from service truck’s ladder rack, setting up ladder, and climbing ladder to safely access roofs for service evaluation.
* Requires ability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materials.
* Requires standing up for long periods of time.
* Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without giving out or fatiguing.
* Requires seeing details at close range.
* Requires repetitive movement, bending or twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling.
* Requires ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing 50 pounds regularly.
Work Environment
At times the work will be conducted at construction sites and the employee will be exposed to varying temperature ranges from heat in excess of 90 degrees to cold weather which could include temperatures in the teens, and rainy conditions.
