We are hiring for the following:
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Rockbridge Regional Jail
Shift: AM Shift
Pay Rate: $26.hr
Sign on Bonus: $7,500
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the center's physician in providing proper medical care for patients
* Schedule dental and medical appointments per Physician's orders
* Provide emergency medical assistance
* Conduct medical history interviews and prepare medical history and physical reports
* Assist the center's Physician in conducting sick call
* Administer medicine dosage and treatment per Physician's orders
* Maintain control of all medications and drugs on hand in accordance with policies and procedures
* Ensure that policies and procedures regarding the Medical Department are followed
* Complete reports and medical forms
* Ensure medical office is clean and properly stocked, and all medications and supplies are promptly ordered
* Perform other duties as assigned
