Job Description
AmeriStaff, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a company located in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate should have office experience.
Benefits of the Certified Medical Assistant: • Monday-Friday.
• 8:00am-5:00pm.
• $15.00 /hour.
Requirements of the Certified Medical Assistant:
• Must have some office experience.
• Must be willing and available to cross train.
• Must have knowledge of checking blood sugar.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Should have reliable transportation.
• Must have experience in transporting a person in a wheelchair from room to room.
Responsibilities of the Certified Medical Assistant:
• Mainly responsible for back office work.
• Will help with taking patients back to a room.
• Get patients set up and prepped to see the doctor.
• Remove socks and shoes.
• Assist doctor if necessary for visit or procedure.
• Apply lotion to feet and assist with re-applying socks and shoes.
• Clean and straighten up the treatment rooms.
• Assist with set up/clean up of nursing home visits.
• Help with inventory supplies.
• Other duties such as cleaning the office after clinic.
Compensation and Hours
Salary Range: $15.00 (minimum) DOE (Depends on Experience) Benefits Provided: 401K, Dental, Holidays, Life Insurance, Medical, Sick Leave, Vacation Other Benefits: Not Available Full or Part Time: Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Duration: Over 150 Days Type of Job: Regular
