As a Full-time Program Manager in Intercept's Summit Transitional Living Program, you will oversee the staffing schedule, behavioral program implementation, operations, safety initiatives, and transportation to ensure residents participation in all aspects of health/life. You will also provide overall administrative supervision.
Education and Experience Required: The selected candidate must be a registered Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by the department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services (DBHDS) with the Virginia Board of Counseling - and - have at least 2 years' experience providing services to facility population. Bilingual individuals are preferred (English and Spanish).
Valid Driver's License and favorable driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years; no DUIs/Reckless driving in the last 3 years)
Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Provide case management services to residents as needed living in transitional living residence.
• Provide direct supervision to Life Skills Administrator and residential specialists.
• Serve as a facilitator for residents preparing to successfully transition into the community.
• Promote the involvement of staff, caregivers, and other community support persons in planning services.
• Track and report regularly on progress of residents' goals and submit reports to appropriate parties.
• Serve as a liaison to referral sources, outpatient providers, parole officers, and family regarding resident progress and needs.
• Take part in weekly multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Maintain overall compliance with DJJ and COA regulatory requirements, to include oversight of grounds/home maintenance, documentation requirements, medication processes, etc.
