Job Description:
About the Position In this role you will...
•
Check fluid levels, such as coolant, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid and diesel exhaust fluid ( we can train on this !).
•
Update public service messages inside the buses.
•
Clean the interior of buses including windows, seats, dash areas, driver’s area around the pedals, and sweep and mop the floors.
•
Drive buses around the yard and negotiate around the fuel islands.
•
Fuel the transit buses/support vehicles.
•
Probe and remove GFI cash box.
•
Record mileage, vehicle number, fuel gallons and fluids on the fuel sheet matrix form.
•
Clean the exterior of buses including wheels and tires (as needed) by hand or with the Automatic Bus Washer.
Work Hours
•
Full Time, 40 hours per week.
•
2nd Shift: 03:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
About You Minimum Qualifications :
•
High School Diploma or equivalent
•
Must maintain Florida Driver's License to stay employed in this classification
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five years.
About Everything Else Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
