• Doctor Coordinator s: Each shift you will have a doctor's assistant to keep things running smoothly. They will:
• Acquire your histories & assist you with entering medical records
• Manage patient flow in and out of the hospital along with customer service so you are not constantly taking calls from the front desk
• Create and review estimates with owners
• And much more so that you can focus on what you do best…being an effective doctor!
• Hospitalists: We have a full-time hospitalist that will take over primary case responsibility for cases that do not transfer to one of our specialty departments.
• Hospitalized patients: The overnight doctor does oversee inpatients, however, so that you can focus on your ER patients , any issues with specialty cases are dealt with directly between the ICU staff and the specialty doctor or intern on the case.
• Specialty support and referral: Our specialties include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery.
• Triage System: To keep our emergency service running as efficiently as possible, we have a triage system that includes a “wait at home” option for stable patients.  Our team members and pet owners have found this very helpful during busy times.
