Location: Various RCPS facilities; online
Schedule: Three to twelve hours per week, depending on qualification and position. In-Person Class from 6:00-8:30pm twice per week, 30 minutes of planning on own time; Virtual Class, flexible times, 6 hours per week.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Ability to provide standards-based academic instruction to adult students seeking to earn a GED credential.
• Knowledge of technology sufficient to deliver instruction using technology, communicate via email, monitor students’ online accounts, and teach basic digital literacy to students.
• Required professional development and staff meetings (12 hour minimum per year, paid).
Bachelor’s degree minimum, experience preferred in adult or secondary/post-secondary education with preference for math and/or reading instruction, current teaching certification not required
