Full-Time Job Details Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ·         The manager has the responsibility to ensure timely and efficient execution of the daily Order Fulfillment plan. ·         Develops improvement plans to current warehouse practices to promote efficiency and reduce expenses.  Follows through on specialized projects as requested by the Director or other members of Senior Management. ·         Enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.    ·         Assist in planning and developing warehouse policies and goals. Implement directives by working with direct staff. ·         Deployment of workforce to meet departmental production needs. ·         Approval of all departmental requests for time off.  Aid in interviewing, selection, and orientation of new employees.  Ensure all staff members are fully trained in all job functions, monitor performance by frequent spot check.  Coordinate and advise employees of warehouse policies, maintenance, personnel, and safety policies.  Develop and train staff in new departmental procedures. Conducts Annual reviews. ·         Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.  Co-coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information system.  Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements. ·         Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.  Implementing health and safety procedures.  Managing staff training issues.  Motivating team members. Project management and Setting objectives. ·         Maintain sufficient staffing from Temporary agencies to support distribution activities. ·         Assure adherence to KPI standards ·         Must be flexible to accommodate unforeseen changes to daily schedules.  Must react quickly with contingency plans to any unforeseen issues that might arise. ·         Knowing that exceptions do arise, intelligent decisions must be made and rapid response time is critical to ensure all shipments meet our customer needs. ·         Prepared to assist in other areas of the distribution center when necessary to support Company goals and service. ·         Develop strong Partnerships with DRP, Customer Service, Warehousing , Receiving, Shipping , Engineering  and various other departments.  EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Education ·         Undergraduate college degree required, or equivalent related experience. ·         Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution management experience.  Experience ·         Knowledge of general PC operations; spreadsheet skills desired. ·         Ability to explain instructions to other with less knowledge; develop training manuals. ·          Strong communicator, both verbal and written.  ·         Personality which exhibits confidence in decision making.  ·         Detail-oriented.  ·         Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and delegate as necessary. ·         Superior skills in problem solving, communications, leadership, and team commitment. Functional Competencies  This position also includes that they should keep updated on new products and processes.  Quickly learns to operate new equipment and computer systems.  Cross-trains in functions other than one's primary role.  Keeps up with industry trends and updates knowledge appropriately (e.g., export knowledge, use of automated equipment, advances in technology, e-commerce, etc.) Qualifications
