Special Education Paraprofessionals
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES : ​
•
Assist with student(s) as needed, either instructionally or physically in various situations (one-on-one, general classroom, transitional situations). This may include assisting with hygiene needs and lifting up to 50 pounds,
•
Walking and/ or standing for long periods of time.
•
Prepare, duplicate, distribute documents as directed.
•
Communicate positively with staff, students, and the general public as a representative of the Pulaski County Public School system.
•
Maintain confidentiality.
•
Keep daily time reports.
•
Perform other duties as assigned.

• Successful candidates must hold an Associate's Degree or have 60+ college credit hours. Candidates not meeting this requirement must pass a ParaPro Assessment Exam through the Education Testing System supplied by Pulaski County Public Schools.
• Proven ability to work effectively with people.
• Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the superintendent or school board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary: Paraprofessional Scale 2023-2024 Hourly
