SUMMARY
The Application Developer facilitates business intelligence operations. Performs work involving the design, development, programming, and implementation of application systems. Additionally, guides credit union action and strategies via accurate and timely reports, either ad-hoc or automated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Application Developer must perform the following essential functions:
1 Actively participate in new development initiatives, enhancements, existing applications, and issues resolution/production support.
2 Be involved in all phase of software development life cycle: requirements, detailed analysis, design, development, unit and integration testing, and implementation of both development and support initiatives in vendor purchased applications.
3 Gather and analyze information for developing and modifying information systems.
4 Meet with users to determine the specifications for the installation of application information systems, as well as any enhancements, modifications, or interfaces to existing systems.
5 Participate and/or lead the implementation and support of application systems.

'Must Haves' for this team member to apply:
• An Associate degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SQL prommaning language, minimum of 1 year
• Experience with a graphical reporting solution (Tableu, Power B1, Excel Pivot Charts, JasperSoft, etc.)
• Experience with JAVA and Javascript
• Experience in string manipulation, RegEx, File I/O in programming language of choice
• Experience with various data formats (XML, delimited, JSON, fixed-width, etc.
• Ability to use a scripting language (Powershell, bash, etc.) for automation and file management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field from an accredited college/university.
• Experience working in an IT Developer role, minimum of 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of ANSI SQL, additional familiarity with a proprietary SQL extension (Microsoft Transact-SQL, Oracle's PL/SQL, etc.
• Experience with a language, framework or package geared for data analysis (Python's NumPy, R language, etc.)
• Statistics and/or Finance background
• Practical experience with Machine Learning
• Familiarity with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) concepts and applications of such
• Certification in Java, JavaScript, and Application and/or Cyber Security
• Project Management experience, which includes proficiency with project tracking software, such as Jira and Confluence
• Solid understanding of network architecture and common networking protocols
Salary Description
$39,520-$56,160
