Full job description
Vanguard Utility Service, Inc. is a leader in AMR/AMI installations; water, gas and electric meter change outs, testing and repair. Due to growing demands, we currently have an opening for a Call Center Representative and are looking to expand our workforce with career seeking individuals.
As a Call Center Representative you will be answering incoming calls, as well as returning calls to customers for ongoing meter replacement projects located throughout the United States. Call Center Representatives will schedule appointments and communicate the appointment schedules to Project Managers on site at project locations.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Clear and effective communication skills.
Active listening skills.
Strong organizational skills, including an attention to detail.
Ability to handle heavy call volume and stressful situations when quick action is required.
Capability to identify, trouble shoot and resolve escalated customer problems.
Following through on any issues/problems/concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
**Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Intermediate level skills in the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
**Ability to learn Vanguard data base system.
