Position Overview: This position provides leadership to Title Services Team members who are responsible for delivering high quality title real estate products and knowledge that contribute to the financial products offered to current and prospective clients.  This incumbent directly manages all team members within the assigned areas of responsibility.
Essential Functions:
• Provides direction to the team to serve internal and external clients and third parties
• Collaborates with Senior Leadership to manage resources and performance management functions for team members.
• Hires, selects, evaluates, engages, motivates, mentors, trains, evaluates and compensates team members.
• Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.
• Aids in establishing and developing guidelines to ensure the team provides a consistent quality level of service, which is timely, thorough and responsive to all clients.
• Collaborates across functional committees and projects to develop and ensure ongoing maintenance of documented processes and procedures.
• Informs team and executes changes in policy and procedures.
• Regularly visits direct team member office locations and sets up consistent virtual touch base meetings to remain up-to-date on team’s work.
• Coordinates new hire training.
• Identifies the need for conflict resolution and escalation of operational issues.
• Assists in providing guidance, determines effective solutions for non-standard situations.
• Organizes and facilitates team meetings and calls.
• Updates and monitors team specific reports. Works on various projects as needed.
• Assists in defining the title insurance team’s goals.  Collaborates and partners with other teams to develop and nurture the team relationship model.  Works closely with other teams to service client relationships.
• Assists senior leadership in developing and retaining all third-party relationships.
• Keeps abreast of industry best practices.  Identifies and executes efficient and effective practices that enhance the team’s value.
• Develops, implements and maintains efficient processes related to technology updates, system configuration.
• Builds and maintains strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory expectations for business unit and ensures team members execute appropriately.
• Drives continuous process improvement and directs guidelines to best practices within the team.
• Assists in identifying, developing and delivering effective training to the organization and internal teams and provides subject matter expertise when needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Associate’s degree in business administration, insurance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to obtain Title insurance license and Producer License in MN or WI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in lending, finance, legal or the title insurance industry.
• One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to Title Insurance and the operation of a title company within a lending organization.
• Knowledge of farming operations and agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of title insurance and title operations.
• Ability to examine title insurance searches and related title insurance documents for the preparation of title insurance commitments and policies.
• Ability to comprehend regulatory statutes and requirements.
• Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, title software for team production and reporting, county website searches, and industry programs for obtaining title search information.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals, grow business and service all aspects of client needs.
• Valid driver’s license.
