Job Summary Provides oversight, consultation, research, management, and education in a specific clinical area. # Job Responsibilities Performs duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Serves as an expert consultant for staff in areas of hospital policies, policy management, Lippincott nursing procedures, and standards/regulatory compliance. Manages projects in support of evidence-based practice and disseminates findings while ensuring follow-up is completed. Maintains awareness of current standards/regulatory revisions and updates, ensuring all applicable stakeholders are informed. Assists in coordinating activities and projects to meet organizational and regulatory agency goals and monitors local, state, and federal regulations. Collects and performs statistical analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data related to standards/regulatory compliance. Qualifications Associate#s degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire OR Bachelor#s degree or higher in related field required upon hire A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum of 2 years# relevant experience required RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky required upon hire OR Current licensure or certification in clinical specialty required upon hire AND BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider preferred Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires a strong understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures related to process improvement, human factors, safety principles, and change management.
