Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team to help Experian clients solve problems in areas such as acquisition of new consumers and credit risk quantification.
• Develop robust predictive models and deploy them in credit strategies to optimize acquisition strategies.
• Conduct Business Intelligence studies to help clients gain a broader understanding of the competitive environment or new target consumer audience.
• Interpret analysis results, identify trends and issues, and recommend alternatives to support business objectives.
• Perform data manipulations and develop advanced predictive models using programming languages such as Python, SQL, and SAS.
• Independently validate scoring models' performance.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to confirm data integrity and derive valuable analytical insights.
• Collaborate with North American banks, credit unions, leasing companies, and other financial institutions, which operate with millions of consumers daily.
• Contribute to Experian cross-functional projects related to internal process automation and development of new client products.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's degree program in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expected to return to school in the Fall of 2024 to complete the degree program.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and SAS.
