Full job description
Terra Innovations is currently searching for a full time Captain and First Officer crew to join the team. Our flight department consists of a mix of both part 91 owner flying and part 135 charter. The aircraft is based out of Roanoke/Blacksburg Regional airport (ROA) and candidates will be expected to live within a 1.5 hour radius. Preference will be given to candidates who are typed in the BE-400 and/or who have previous part 135 or turbine aircraft operational experience.
Duties and responsibilities Include:
• File Flight plans and confirm weight and balance
• Ensure the safe and professional operation of the aircraft
• preflight and post flight inspections
• inflight navigation, communications, and checking weather at departure and arrival airports
• loading and unloading baggage
• cleaning of aircraft between flights and stocking food and beverages
• providing safety briefings/demonstrations to passengers
• ensure compliance with both certificate holder operations specifications and FAA regulations
First Officer Preferred Requirements:
• ATP or ATP written taken within the previous 2 years
• 1500 hours Total Time
• 1000 hours PIC
• 500 hours Multi Engine
• 100 hours in jets/turbo prop
• BE-400 Type Rating
Captain Preferred Requirements:
• ATP
• Current 1st class medical
• Valid and current US Passport
• 3500 hours TT
• 2000 hours PIC
• 1500 Turbine
• 1000 hours Turbine PIC
• 500 hours PIC in type
• BE-400 type rating
Salary Dependent Upon Experience.
