Position Mission
This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of line setup tools and for ensuring the success of changeover processes to support efficient production, maintenance of quality targets, and compliance with customer requirements.
Position Main Responsibilities
Maintain and organize changeover carts and materials
Ensure that all tooling is in working order before and after each changeover
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to resolve any tooling concerns
Ensure that all PM schedules are completed on time
Ensure that all tooling is maintained in accordance with the current standards as defined by the Engineering Department
Coordinate with SPWH to ensure that all necessary spares are in stock and available
Ensure that all changeover documents are maintained, available, and up to date in their respective areas in accordance with Corporate Standards
Assist Shift Supervisor with the coordination of changeovers
Support in all training of Line Technicians in the changeover process
Meet with the Production Coordinator weekly to define the changeover plan and prepare accordingly
Maintain understanding of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic drawings, designs and specifications
Apply 7S Rules to all areas of work
Maintain understanding of risks, potential impacts, and all aspects affecting production and changeover processes
Maintain understanding of service order processes and procedures
Take part in processes and machines' continuous improvement activities
Education
required
Associates Degree (or above) in technical field ( mechatronics, engineering, etc.)
Experiences required
Minimum 2 years of experience in related field, preferably in a highly automated environment
