In this job, you will be responsible for operating machines that finish production orders, as well as assist in the shipping process. We’re looking for someone who is mechanically inclined to operate multiple pieces of equipment during their shift based on product and staffing needs.​​Your Responsibilities:Operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production/processing operation including: cutters, slitters, and shrink wrappersAssist in Shipping by pre-boxing and preparing orders.Proofread and quality-check productClean and maintain work area in compliance with safety regulationsAssist in other departmental areas as work load requiresYour Shift:8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday - FridayYou Must Have:Mechanical and technical skills/aptitudeBasic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimizationAbility to operate equipment to obtain proficiency as measured through production and quality standardsAbility to understand verbal and written instructions for work ordersStrong attention to detailAbility to stand/walk for entire shiftAbility to lift up to 20-40 pounds on a consistent basisWe Would Also Prefer:Ability to distinguish colorsExperience in a production related environmentRequirements within this position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials. Frequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 40+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)About Taylor CorporationOne of the top five graphics communications companies in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
