This role will aid APTrust staff primarily by creating, organizing, and standardizing technical digital content to support the APTrust mission. This includes creating new documentation and migrating documentation to WordPress, Wordpress development, visual media generation, such as training videos, and managing documentation in other digital workspaces. Additional duties may include support to the APTrust mission through administrative tasks, such as basic technical support, data entry, and similar workloads. An ability to dig, ask questions, and understand and explain complex concepts for developing documentation using APTrust formats are the basic requirements for this role. Technical capabilities such as HTML, CSS, scripting, CMS platform work, creating videos or exposure to IT systems is not required but very helpful. Students in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Communications and Marketing should find this a good fit, but ALL are welcome to apply!Basic Skills and ReqsStrong command of the English language.Comfortable working with online content management systems, such as WordPress, Google Docs, and similar.Effective writer that pays attention to detail, and can understand and explain technical concepts.Ability to work with others to generate and synthesize information for digital content and documentation.
