Full job description
Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling machinery.

Responsibilities:
• Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
• Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
• Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Maintain quality, precision, and safety by checking own work and paying attention to detail, with a clear understanding of customer requirements
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner including marking up prints with corrections
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Plans sequence of operation
• Dismantles and moves machines and equipment.
• Aligns machines and equipment.
• Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
• Positions and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixture.
• Ensures all safety policies are followed at all times.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work overtime, off shifts and weekends as needed.
Must be able to identify material types and thickness as associated to work orders.
Ability to read blueprints is preferred but not required.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

• High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
• Assembly Experience: 1 year (Required)
• Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electro Mechanical Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical wiring: 1 year (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
