About us
Our goal is to Feed Better, Feel Healthier, Live Longer. Along with good nutrition, we make pets pretty! A groomed puppy is a happy puppy. Barkley's is where a lucky dog is a healthy dog.
Duties:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards or customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and dry pets
- Trim nails and clean ears
- Style and trim fur using appropriate grooming techniques
- Provide basic grooming services such as teeth brushing and anal gland expression
- Monitor the health and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
Skills:
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Proficiency in using grooming tools such as clippers, shears, and brushes
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting heavy animals
Please note that experience as a pet groomer is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training for candidates who demonstrate a passion for working with animals.
