This position is responsible for maintain patient records, verifying eligibility and obtaining authorization.
Essential Functions
•
Review patient notes for completeness and accuracy.
•
Create written orders and prescriptions and forward to doctor’s offices for approval.
•
Complete records request from outside parties.
•
Provide patients with an explanation of patient benefits, patient portion and payment plan options.
•
Verify insurance benefits.
•
Obtain insurance authorization and document accordingly
•
Analyze medical review policies.
•
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate through different medias such as telephone, email, etc.

Computer Proficiency
Qualifications
•
High school diploma or GED equivalent
•
One to three years’ experience working in the healthcare field.
•
Able to work overtime.
