Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and paperwork completion
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
