As a full-time Crisis Support Specialist III, you will provide direct care to clients, conduct assessments, and partner with admissions for client placement. You will develop Individualized Treatment Plans, provide direct counseling and treatment interventions to children, youth and adults who are in psychiatric crisis to intervene and stabilize behaviors and prevent psychiatric hospitalization and loss of placement. You will serve as a clinical lead in the provision of client services.
The selected candidate will possess relevant clinical experience providing direct clinical services with mental health diagnoses, and will have a minimum Masters Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.) and licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-S, LMHP-RP). Experience in leadership, supervision and/or training staff required.
