RCPS is hiring Elementary School Counselor for the 2023-24 school year.
Please ensure that the licensure component of your online application is completed, as well as fields for education and teaching/student teaching experience. Candidates will be pre-screened based on qualifications including, but not limited to:
• License status / type / eligibility / endorsements (we strongly recommend the inclusion of a copy of your teaching license with application)
• Years of teaching experience
• Educational credentials (transcripts are required for application to be complete)
• Student interns in Roanoke City Schools with recommendation from supervising counselor
• Current Roanoke City Public Schools employees in non-counselor roles
Applicants must hold - or be eligible for - School Counselor licensure with an appropriate Master's Degree from an approved school counselor education program or a Virginia Postgraduate Professional teaching license with an endorsement as a School Counselor.
