We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing Muhlenberg and Sinking Spring practices. You will travel between two locations but will be with the same team. This is a position for a new Dental Assistant as you will mostly be assisting the EFDA. Candidates can have little experience or be right our of dental assisting school. Having your x-ray certification or testing in the near future is a must. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and help the EFDA with doing fillings on patients. Between patients, you will clean exam rooms and replenish supplies. This position is a 5 day work week with no evenings or weekends! We offer an excellent benefit package with MONTHLY BONUS incentive!
Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
• Gather patient information and health background
• Prepare the work area for procedures
• Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare materials for crowns or dental impressions
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
• Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory
Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
• Dental assistant certificate from an accredited vocational school (preferred)
• X-ray certification
• Current BLS and CPR certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Dentrix experience a plus

• Mon/Tues/Thurs in Muhlenberg 8:45am-5:30pm
• Wed in Sinking Spring 9:00am-6:00pm
• Fri in Sinking Spring 9:00am-3:00pm
