Woodland Hills Retirement Community a premier Independent Living and Assisted Living Community is seeking a Human Resources/Business Office Manage r to join the TEAM!
The Business Office/HR Manager will perform both HR and business office functions for the community. The Business Office functions include finance, accounting, budgeting, and spenddown insurance, purchasing, personnel management of concierges and legal and regulatory compliance. The HR functions will include employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy interpretation and implementation, recruitment and employment, labor relations and employment law compliance.
Business Office Functions:
• Prepares monthly service request reconciliation and posts charges to resident’s account.
• Prepares weekly meal reconciliation report and posts corresponding charges.
• Responsible for completing the lease discrepancy report and following up as required on variances.
• Ensures that resident files contain required information and are kept confidential.
• Submits accounts receivable report to the home office monthly.
Human Resources Functions:
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with RUI standards and applicable state and federal guidelines.
• Oversee completion of necessary coursework as needed through the Relias Learning Management System.
• Assists departments with personnel/payroll related inquiries; advises and assists on current departmental HR procedures related to employee records; coordinate employee engagement activities and act as liaison between departments and staff.
• Responsible for the timely entry of new hires, pay rates, pay status changes and termination information of all employees into the HRIS data base.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to employees and managers; creates performance management documentation of such.
• Assists with the effective and thorough investigations of employee complaints and employee relations issues.
