Summary
CAVE SPRING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Weekday Preschool seeks a caring, kind, loving individual to join our staff. Must have a heart for caring for children! Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Early childhood education or experience caring for young children is preferred but not required.
We seek a caregiver for Tuesdays and Thursdays in our Lambs 1s Class from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children in this class are 16 to 23 months old at the beginning and turn two years old by the end of the school year.
This position will be available from September 2023 through May 2024. Staff are paid once a month. Gross monthly pay is $416.00.
The hours are perfect for anyone with children in elementary school, caring for elementary school-age children, or taking afternoon or online classes. Also convenient for stay-at-home parents or retirees looking for extra income!! We offer tuition discounts for staff when enrolling your preschool-age child.
FBI Fingerprinting and CPS background checks will be performed. Must have a physician-signed Staff Health Report on file. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, bend, sit on the floor, etc.
Duties
Weekday School Co-Teacher responsibilities include ensuring children are always supervised, carrying out provided lesson plans and establishing and following classroom routines. Assisting children with organized activities and experiences, including songs, games, and storytelling using provided curriculum. Maintaining a neat and orderly classroom. Integrating special needs children positively and respectfully. Communicating with parents as needed. Collaborating with other teachers and attending staff meetings.
