Credit Manager
The Credit Manager will assist with the management of the overall credit function to improve cash flow, reduce receivables and minimize bad debt risk.  This position will contribute to the development of policies regarding the investigation of customers, extension of credit lines, and collections; work with current and future clients regarding their level of credit; and oversee negotiation and course of action for overdue accounts.  Based at our Corporate headquarters in Bassett, VA, the Credit Manager reports to the Director of Credit.
Responsibilities include:
·         Manage accounts receivable
·         Review credit hold orders
·         Monitor credit limits, pay habits and past due reports
·         Analyze customer credit data and financial statements to determine the credit risk
·         Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·         Associates degree, preferably in business
·         Minimum 3 years of finance, accounting or banking experience, with general credit experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably home furnishings
·         Knowledgeable and experienced in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
·         Motivated, self-starter and adaptable
·         Excellent negotiating skills
