Albright College is seeking applications for Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Student and Campus Life. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer, the Executive Assistant is the partner to the Senior Vice President bringing leadership, creative problem solving and project management to the division of Student and Campus Life. The Executive Assistant provides the strategy and overall coordination of the senior vice presidents calendar. In addition, the person in this position represents the senior vice president and chief health officer to all constituencies (students, cabinet members, trustees, campus officials, and key external constituents) and advises the senior vice president on college policy and practice. In concert with the Senior Vice President, they assist in leading, coordinating and administering various staff activities within the Office of the Senior Vice President in service to the varied constituents of the campus community. Supports the Senior Vice President in work with members of the Board of Trustees and Board Committees. The Executive Assistant provides all administrative and clerical support for the Senior Vice President, including greeting visitors and answering calls. This position works a flexible schedule based on the operational needs of the College and the schedule of events. Albright College is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. Functional Job Duties :
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily activities and schedule for the Senior Vice President while understanding and balancing competing priorities. Interacts with students, faculty, staff and parents as a part of regular responsibilities.
• Reviews reports, requests, recommendations, correspondence, and mail materials for the Senior Vice President. Provides pertinent background information regarding these materials.
• Troubleshoots, answers questions, screens calls; including the aptitude and skills to handle upset/angry students and parents, and provides information on all projects in progress.
• Coordinates with department heads and clerical staff to ensure that the Senior Vice President's directives are completed in a timely manner.
• Provides leadership and guidance on board committee meetings and attends the meetings with the Senior Vice President.
• Facilitates communications between the Senior Vice President’s office and various constituencies, both internal and external.
• Interacts with, and represents the Senior Vice President to, trustees, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the college.
• Prepares confidential and general correspondence on behalf of the Senior Vice President; often responds to communication on behalf of the Senior Vice President.
• Assists the Senior Vice President in the preparation of printed materials and in crafting responses to inquiries and correspondence.
• Advises the Senior Vice President on policy, procedural and operational issues, including independently identifying historical data and information, as well as relevant current information to understand such issues.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality related to all materials received, reviewed and discussed.
• Maintains confidential departmental files.
• Professionally and proactively maintains the student and campus life office and board of trustee committee websites.
• Leads, directs and completes special projects as assigned by the senior vice president in support of the college mission, vision and priorities, which may include creative problem solving, project management, and working with multiple departments.
• Composes, types, and distributes a variety of correspondence with a high degree of confidentiality, judgment and discretion.
• Responsible for completion of the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, including opens, reads and routes mail, organizes department budget reports and institutional credit card reports proactively and promptly, maintains inventory for office and Lifting Up Lions and orders office supplies for the department.
• Provides overall office management in support of the Senior Vice President, which may require some nights or weekends.
• Performs related/other duties as required.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
• Five years of equivalent administrative experience and/or transferable work experiences.
• Experience in higher education, preferably in a college similar to Albright.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree required.
