Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS® success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service.SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, occasionally the schedule may shift to 1pm - 10pm to support the night warehouse team. Some weekend work is also needed if there are employee/company events, usually 5 or 6 times a year. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEEducation/Training: Previous HR work experience required. Some college or Associates Degree preferred.Related Experience: Minimum three years work experience in human resources required. Familiar with legislation concerning Federal and local State(s) employment laws to include but not limited to ADA, FMLA, EEOC, OSHA, FLSA, Title VII.Recent working knowledge and experience with HRIS required.Recent working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems preferredFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook requiredExperience with Access and PowerPoint preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detail requiredPrior experience in a Federal Contractor environment preferred.MAIN INGREDIENTS Great Human Resources Coordinators are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our drivers strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with our team.Provide administrative support for unemployment claim responses.Prepare various reports and professional correspondence for executives.Schedule system generated reports for department leads.Participate with and support the employee events committee.Provide managers with approved temporary employment agencies contact information for temporary staffing needs.Monitor FML mailbox for updates and requests to ensure compliance.Provide good faith outreach effort administrative support and research.Conduct exit interviews and process associated paperwork as necessary.
