Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. We are one of the fastest growing consumer-packaged goods (CPG) producers and ZYN is the number one selling nicotine pouch in the US. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for the Owensboro, KY manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities Include:
• Development and oversight of inventory control systems and strategies, including but not limited to the maximization of available storage space and staging locations.
• Perform transactional searches and analysis of problems and issues related to supply chain.
• Primary trainer and super user of D365FO warehouse application and handheld barcode scanners.
• Responsible for accurate barcode labeling of all storage, production, and logistics locations to ensure accurate records within automated manufacturing systems.
• Ensures department managers and hourly employees remain compliant with applicable storage policies & procedures.
• Oversight of all departmental cycle count inventories, ordering recounts as necessary, and giving final approval for submission to Finance for posting.
• Able to cover vacations and vacancies for Receiving Manager, Receiving Coordinator, and Shipping Manager, carrying out all necessary duties.
• Works with Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, and Finance to ensure all finished goods that fall within the jurisdiction of BATF are processed accurately and according to government regulations.
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
Experience: Five to ten years of supply chain, logistics, or other relevant experience required.
Skill: Must be able to listen, communicate, and be proficient in interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to perform duties that require close attention to detail, prioritize workload, and follow tasks through to completion.
Specialized Knowledge: Advanced computer and software concepts Mathematics principles. Evaluation and analysis. Basic understanding of procurement, management, administration, and accounting principles and terminology.
Other: Must be willing to work in a tobacco environment. Ability to work independently within the scope of the job is imperative. Must be able to work 8:00am - 4:30pm , as well as any shift as required on occasion.
