Job description
Job Details:
· $12.50 per hour
· Owensboro Kentucky- will not require travel
· Flexibility in hours may be required based upon needs of the facility
· Bi-weekly pay
Minimum Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Basic math and counting skills required
· MUST be able to pass NCIC background check for security clearance in a correctional facility and maintain said clearance
· Must be able to pass drug screen
· Must be able to frequently push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs
· Must be able to tolerate temperature extremes
· Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office (preferred)
Job Duties:
· Correct identification of individual for delivery of pre-packaged food and non-food orders
· Correct identification of individual for delivery of cooked foods and shelf stable orders
· Fill hot food and shelf stable food orders for delivery
· If an issue is presented- must be able to verify shortage or damage for return ticket
· Responsible for distribution of all orders regarding housing status and allowed items
· Responsible for all orders until they are distributed to the correct individual
· Maintain records of delivery (signed verification sheets)
· Assist with the ordering and re-stocking of inventory
· Load and unload inventory from pallets
· Help maintain inventory using FIFO rotation method
· Once a week fill and deliver Indigent Clothing orders
· Adhere to all policy and procedures for both Kellwell Commissary and the Detention Center you are assigned regarding Professional Visitors
· Maintain a clean working environment, disposing of all trash generated during duties
· Cleaning and Sanitizing of equipment at the end of the shift
· Complete all training for both Kellwell Commissary and the Detention Center to which you are assigned
· Any other duties as assigned by the Commissary Manager
