Job Description
The Specialty Care Clinic Eligibility Specialist supports activities in determining initial and continuing eligibility of applicants for Ryan White Part A, B, C, and other financial assistance programs. This includes collaborating with other members of the case management and medical team to ensure that clients are Ryan White eligible and informed about available assistance, including health insurance navigation and enrollment into the Health Insurance Continuation Program (HICP).
Scope of Work:
The full-time position reports to the Case Manager Supervisor at Specialty Care Clinic. To be successful in this role, the Eligibility Specialist must have knowledge of medical terminology, medical office practices, CMS rules for reimbursement, insurance coverage, Ryan White Part A, B, C eligibility criteria and policies. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and multi-disciplinary team.
Compensation and Hours
