We are hiring a Supervisor, Technical Support to be based at our manufacturing complex in Salina, KS . The supervisor will lead 6-7 IT technicians who support our largest production facilities around the country.

Responsibilities:
• Managing your team: creating development plans, annual reviews, motivating your people, and creating a culture of team collaboration.
• Collaborating with internal IS teams, problem management, workload prioritization, creating hardware standards, maintaining service level agreements, and managing established IT policies and procedures.
• Builds and enhances relationships with plant leaders and IS. Delivers clear communication, offers excellent customer service, and ensures key performance metrics (including customer response time, issue resolution time, and departmental efficiency) are met or exceeded.
• Assists your team in their efforts to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues hands on in addition to using ticket/case management software.
• Provides input to software deployment project plans and schedules.
• Provides resources as needed to complete appropriate testing and distribution of various customer software including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, and corporately managed mobile devices.
• Develops and delivers technical documentation and training materials to educate external and internal customers.
• Works with peers, both in the Help Desk and IT Operations, to ensure appropriate documentation is in place to efficiently resolve internal customer technical problems.
• Provides input to technical assistance on 24-hour on- call or emergency need.
• Assists in management and control of computer hardware inventory. Responsible for accuracy of assigned computer hardware inventory.
• Works with other areas of IS on the testing of new client based applications as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in an IT support role, 2+ years formally leading a team
• Must have experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment!
• Considerable expertise with PC hardware, PC software, operating systems, security systems, and technical documentation interpretation (service manuals, schematics)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent customer service, prioritizing, and time management skills
• Able to inspire/coach/mentor people!
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities
