**Pediatric Hospitalist opening: Richmond, IN** Located 73 miles east of Indianapolis and 67 miles northwest of Cincinnati. 72,000 person service area **Position Details:** - Full time, permanent position - Hospital employed - Recruiting a BC/BE Pediatrician to join hospitalist program. - Positions includes working 7 days on 7 days off. - Daily schedule includes rounding on all pediatric inpatients and newborns in the hospital, and being available by call 24 hours per day for inpatient needs. - Pediatric hospitalist team will consist of 2 pediatricians and work closely with 5 outpatient pediatricians.   **Practice Highlights:** - Hospital Employed Position - Competitive Compensation Package - Sign on Bonus: 60K - Student Loan Repayment: 100K - Full Hospital Benefits - Large Referral Base - Work closely with five outpatient pediatricians - Epic EMR   **Hospital Highlights:** - 24/7 Adult Hospitalist Program - Level I Nursery - (No NICU or PICU) - Average births per year = 750+ - 1-4 Pediatric Inpatient Daily Census - Family Medicine Residency Program - Medical Staff of 200+ Physicians - 93% Board Certified **About the Community:** - Population of 40,000 in a county of 72,000. - Within 35 minutes of Dayton, Ohio and 60 minutes to Indianapolis and Cincinnati. - Home to Earlham College, Indiana University East and Ivy Tech Community College. - Excellent private and public schools.
