POSITION TITLE OUTCOMES & OUTPUTS
• Production Volume Planning
• Maintains the days on hand inventory at our distributors for each brand within the defined desired range 85% of the time.
• Distributor Communication:
• Communicate weekly with distributors on available to pick-up schedule, out of stock risks, schedule changes and distributor PO requests.
• Anticipates demand of smaller distributors to ensure we have product available when they request it.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Clearly identifying and communicating risks to all key stakeholders.
• Trend Forecasting:
• Uses Annual operating plan, market indicators, sales team information and other contributing factors to plan monthly production volumes.
• Critique and reevaluate forecasts to better predict future outcomes
• Correctly anticipates smaller market volume demands to ensure product is available for them when they need it.
• Properly communicates the desired monthly production volume to the production managers.
• Utilizes Power BI, Encompass, VIP, and other software programs to monitor days of inventory on hand at both CCBC and our distributors to meet CCBC freshness goals.
• Utilizes and develops models to determine production volume plans and collaborates with the production managers to execute on the monthly volume plan.
• Collaborates with production managers to adjust schedule throughout the month as necessary to maintain the correct DOI levels across all brands.
• Actively works with production managers to execute the planned variety pack volume.
• Properly determines the weekly packaging mix and communicates it to the production manager correctly and within established deadline.
• Supply Chain Management
• Ensure that ingredients and packaging materials needed for production are in the warehouse by the time they are needed by production staff 100% of the time.
• Uses and develops models to determine the weekly packaging mix for Southern Mills and communicates this to production managers.
• Has daily interactions with production managers/team to understand current state of production and a thorough understanding of any issues that could affect the production schedule/process that could affect the DOI or out of stock risks at our distributors.
• Raw Material & Packaging items are ordered in time to arrive at least 7 days week before needed in the production process. Creates Purchase Orders in accordance with company policy. Follows up on any delivery issues and finds solutions.
• Reviews weekly electronic and physical inventory counts to ensure all necessary quantities of raw materials are in house 7 days prior to needing them, addresses shortcomings or miscounts of materials.
• Determine and maintain raw material and finished goods inventory within the agreed upon levels 90% of the time.
• Understand the correct levels of inventory to maintain for raw materials needed to meet production volumes and finished goods safety stock.
• Drives improvements in the Creature's MRP process to optimize the purchasing process and inventory carrying costs, while balancing the need for cost savings, warehouse space, and cash flow.
• Maintain good working relationship with distributors and suppliers 100% of the time.
• Consistently communicates with distributors to ensure alignment with CCBCs production volumes.
• Takes a long-term vision of the company's growth to ensure future availability of necessary raw materials to create required finished goods.

Requirements:
• Experience with SAP software is desired.
• Previous experience within supply chain and in production planning for the food/beverage industry is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
