PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Assist with student(s) as needed, either instructionally or physically in various situations (one-on-one, general classroom, transitional situations).
• Prepare, duplicate, distribute documents as directed.
• Communicate positively with staff, students, and general public as a representative of the Pulaski County Public School system.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Keep daily time reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
1. Ability to work with children with a variety of needs/behaviors
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal; computer skills preferred.
3. Self-directed, able to work on multi-task situations.
4. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
5. Successful candidates must hold an Associate's Degree or have 60+ college credit hours. Candidates not meeting this requirement must pass a ParaPro Assessment Exam through the Education Testing System supplied by Pulaski County Public Schools.
6. Proven ability to work effectively with people.
7. Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the superintendent or school board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Salary: Paraprofessional Scale 2023-2024 Hourly
