The Northeast Health District is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to work with the District Nursing/Clinical and Program Directors. Under the supervision of the Executive Directors, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations. Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate executive, administrative and management activities for upper-level management.
• Conveys directives, assignments, instructions and other information from management to staff as directed.
• Establishes and monitors deadlines to ensure timeliness of staff’s responses to inquiries complaints and other issues.
• Assists with evaluations and performance reviews.
• Assist with organizing and planning meetings for Directors and related committees. This may include coordinating calendars, agendas, speakers, assembling printed materials, and notetaking.
• Fulfill administrative duties such as procuring supplies, organizing files, routing contracts and/or documents for signature, and other duties as assigned.
• Coordinates calendars, travel itineraries and maintains associated records for Directors and/or other staff as assigned.
• Assists Directors in preparing for meetings by researching and summarizing relevant issues, drafting documents, prepares spreadsheets, reports and presentations.
• Maintains organized, accessible and current systems in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. This includes maintaining nursing licenses and relevant credentials for employees, contractors, and volunteers; nurse training and CE documentation, protocol signature sheets, and other forms of clinical documentation.
• Maintains current accessible and organized reference manuals/materials.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of information and materials according to established policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience
OR
Three years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills. Medical office experience. Finance/bookkeeping experience.
Annual salary $39,500, plus generous benefits include 13 paid holidays, annual and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement plans.
This position is in Athens, GA, and does not offer relocation assistance. Must be within a reasonable commuting distance. If relocating to Athens, GA, please specify on the application.
