What is this role?
Campus Cooks is looking for an enthusiastic team member passionate about service. This role lies within our Operations department and will report to one of our District Managers while partnering with other members of the Operations Management team. You will be working at one of the leading college campuses across the country supporting the organization in the relationships you will build with Campus Cooks' partners and the supporting the execution of creative and healthy menus.

How will you make an impact?
You are responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils and kitchen work areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. You will take direction from the Private Chef to accomplish designated tasks to ensure safety and health standards are being followed specific to state and local guidelines.
Your mission will be:
You will be an important member of the kitchen team and mediate the relationship with the chapter. In addition to the relationship, you will be enthusiastic about supporting the execution of the program and finding new ways for the chapter to enhance their experience.
• Uses various techniques in accordance with state health code to clean and sanitize all dining and cooking wares
• Interacts daily with students/clients providing excellent customer service
• Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and cutting boards
• Safely use and properly store all needed chemicals
• Maintains cleanliness and basic maintenance of kitchen spaces and equipment
• Assists in putting away food orders according to health code regulations
Who you are:
Someone who is passionate about being organized, delivering first-class service, and:
• Minimum one-year dishwashing experience
• Knowledgeable with operating kitchen machinery and/or culinary tools
• Driven to hone existing skills and learn new ones
• Focused on details and consistency
• Willing and able to actively listen to client for the purpose of understanding wants and needs

• Have food preparation experience
• Knowledge to cook for dietary preferences such as vegetarian/vegan, dairy/gluten-free,
• Expertise in some form of specialty cooking – Pastries, sushi, smoking meats, etc.

Physical Requirements
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be competent with Microsoft Office, Email, and Internet Navigation.
• Frequent exposure to heat, steam, fire, extreme cold, sharp objects, mechanical equipment, and noise
