A Medical Assistant, or a Clinical Assistant, is responsible for assisting Nurse Practitioners in providing care to their patients. Their duties include recording and updating medical histories and contact information in patient files, scheduling patient appointments and performing standard care procedures like drawing blood, checking vitals or collecting lab samples.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Schedule appointments
• Obtain blood samples
• Perform data entry
• Measure and record vital signs
• Clean exam rooms
• Answer phone calls
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Lewisport, KY 42351: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
