This Bookkeeper position would be a great fit for someone with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. Located in the Charlottesville, Virginia area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term opportunity that you do not want to miss.
Your responsibilities
- Look after archived records by categorizing documents
- Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Oversee and manage general ledger
- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Review payments received and record deposits
- Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience using accounting software
