Minimum Qualifications

Experience working in an office setting with 1-2 years' experience specific to administrative services.
Position Summary
The Administrative Services Manager works alongside five other Office of Student Conduct ( OSC ) staff members and is the primary staff member responsible for the entry and maintenance of confidential and sensitive student conduct records and cases for the OSC . The Administrative Services Manager also provides front-line support for the OSC and supervises all student employees within the OSC , which includes selecting, training, evaluating and providing leadership for student workers. This individual reports directly to the Associate Director for Student Conduct and also provides administrative assistance to both the Director for the OSC and the Associate Director.

• Considerable knowledge of office practices and experience managing multiple tasks and balancing time well.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and an understanding of the importance of adherence to UGA fiscal policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exhibits the desire to support student development and growth.

• Work is divided on two floors, travel to other floor for some filing, work tasks, carrying files, some files are kept in boxes.

Front Office Duties and Student Supervision
• Serves as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors to the OSC .
• Ensures office coverage and maintains a high level of customer service for students, staff, faculty, and community constituents.
• Selects, hires, trains, and supervises all student workers within the OSC and provides them with a meaningful work experience.
• Manages all aspects of position management for Federal Work Study positions in Handshake and approval of timesheets in OneUSG Connect.

Confidential Data Management
• Responsible for the input, maintenance, and retention of all student conduct records, including utilizing the student conduct database Advocate to maintain accurate case files and comprehensive records.
• Handles confidential correspondence such as scheduling appointments, organizing hearing materials, and tracking sanction submission and completion.
• Assist with the sanction completion process.

• Performs student conduct background-check inquires.
• Responds to other conduct record inquires as needed.

• Initiates and submits appropriate documentation within Financial Management systems including tasks related to UGAMart, Travel & Expenses, and Payment Requests on behalf of the OSC .
