Position Purpose
The Creative Director will be responsible for overseeing the development of best-in-class point-of-sale, storytelling, and digital advertising to drive brand awareness, engage our target audience, and support business growth. Additionally, the Creative Director will provide design direction to the Creative Team, ensuring a visually compelling and cohesive brand presence across all marketing channels. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented marketing professional with a strong background in creative design and a deep understanding of the craft beer industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Brand Management and Creative Design Direction:
• Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Provide creative design direction to internal and external design teams to develop visually compelling brand assets.
• Develop brand guidelines and ensure adherence to maintain a strong and cohesive brand identity.
• Ensure all POS materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand identity.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop comprehensive campaign and POS material strategy that aligns with brand objectives.
• Manage the creative design process for marketing collateral, packaging, merchandise, and other brand materials.
• Lead the design team to execute engaging and innovative visual campaigns.
• Advertising and Digital Marketing:
• Develop and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
• Manage relationships with advertising agencies and media partners to maximize campaign effectiveness.
• Drive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Monitor digital marketing analytics, optimize campaigns, and track ROI.
• Storytelling and Communications:
• Assume the lead in the creation of engaging and authentic content that showcases our brand's impact, values, partnerships, and activities to resonate with our target audience.
• Develop and execute compelling storytelling strategies to promote Creature Comforts' brand impact externally across various media channels, including digital, social, web, OOH, radio, and more.
• Manage CCBC's suite of digital assets, including social media, web presence, and PR channels.
• Analyze digital asset performance and collaborate with internal partners to continually improve engagement metrics.
• Ensure consistency in brand messaging and story across all external communications, maintaining an accurate reflection of the company's heart and mission.
• Social Media and Community Engagement:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage and grow our online community.
• Manage social media channels, create compelling content, and monitor social media trends and conversations.
• Foster strong relationships with influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors to amplify our brand reach.
• Support community engagement initiatives, including sponsorships, events, and charitable partnerships.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in the craft beer industry or related consumer goods industry.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of brand management principles and experience in building and maintaining brand equity.
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and analytics tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand stories.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing marketing teams.
• Proficiency in creative design software and tools.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and drive innovation.
• Passion for the craft beer industry and a deep appreciation for the Creature Comforts Brewing Company brand.
