Atrium Medical Center ONLY: Up to $40,000.00 sign-on bonuses available for full-time Atrium Medical Center Certified Surgical First Assistants! CVOR/Heart Team training available, no experience required! CVOR/Heart Team staff receive additional hourly incentive pay regardless of surgery type. Relocation and referral bonuses available!
Job Qualifications
Education: Associates in Surgical Technology
Certification: Completion of a First Assist program accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) or ABSA (American Board of Surgical Assistants) Required. Current CPR certification required.
One Of The Following Certifications Required
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist under the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist by graduating from a CAAHEP and passing a national certification examination (CST)
- Certification under the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Certification under the Armed Forces (military) Program
Experience: No experience required, 5+ years of experience in lieu of certification and/or education.
Skills/Other: Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations. Works independently as well as functioning as a team member.
