Description
Assists Surgical staff with the operational efficiency of the department. Carries out duties as directed by various Surgical staff in the assigned area. Is knowledgeable in the daily activities of operating room and provides patients with the utmost quality of care.
Education Required: Associates in Surgical Technology, current BLS
Preferred educational qualifications: Certification in Surgical Technology
Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
Knowledge/Skills
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Ability to evaluate & prioritize department, technologist and/or nurse, & patient needs.
