Are you a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist seeking an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment? Join our team at TriHealth as a Certified Surgical Technologist and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional surgical care to our patients.
Responsibilities
• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are properly sterilized and available.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support throughout the procedure.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure the patient's safety and comfort during the surgical procedure.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
• Monitor and document vital signs and other relevant patient information during surgery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate surgical records and documentation.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
