Do you have what it takes to be a Medical Assistant or LPN Patient Educator:
• Completion of a Medical Assisting program required
• CMA/RMA required
• Active BLS required
• 3-5 years of medical office experience preferred
Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses are an essential part of our team and make a real difference in peoples lives. They fulfill patient care duties and administrative tasks, liaising between patients and physicians.
• Communicates effectively between patient, patient families and provider
• Manage daily schedule administering medications and giving injections with physicians order: Depo-provera, Flu vaccine, Gardasil, Makena, Rhogam, Rocephin, and Tdap
• Abstracting all historical information in the prenatal ACOG but also building the problem list and starting the order sets for the providers based on clinical protocols
